Adam and Eve!

Gender discrimination has been a topic of discussion since many ages, gathering lot more significance in recent times. We see women fighting for equality with men in different fields of life. But this very idea of equality between the genders seems to be no more than an idiocy! Equality equation doesn't seem to be valid between the two genders.

Wonder why do I say this?
 Lets start from the beginning of life to explain my point of view.

So we all know, that we owe our existence to our parents i.e Mom and Dad.

My mom has been preparing herself anatomically to bear me from a very tender age of early teens. Going through days of physical agony and mood swings each month of every single year.

Later when I was conceived she had to endure nine months duration of physical discomfort and emotional roller coaster ride. With few good days and many bad ones, to keep me safe and alive inside her womb.

And the time finally arrived for me to make a grand entry into this world, for which she had to experience the pain ranking highest on the measurement scale.

After my arrival she was again looked down for getting a female child into the family ( read by the oldies). Even on being fully aware that she had no power in deciding the gender of her child.

Nevertheless I am relieved that I didn't take away my mom's life to start my own. Maternal mortality being high in India, many mothers die in the process of bringing their new ones into this world.

But has anyone heard about Paternal mortality rate?

How many fathers give up their life annually for the birth of their progeny?

The answer being zero to none.

But even after all this I was supposed to take up my father's surname, representing his family and not my mom's. Reducing her to just my portal of entry on this planet.

 My father too played a important role for my being, but not equal to my mom's role. I can never bring the equality function between their importance.
I love them equally, don't get confused between love and the role importance for my birth.

So all these debates and fights for the equality between the genders is a lame idea.

Working for the same amount of office hours, receiving equal pay, freedom to roam about with out any fear at midnight, going on solo trips etc isn't sufficient to make the two genders equal.

Male and Female genders can be equal to each other only when..

• Men start preparing themselves physically to bear a child, when they too experience the monthly cycles, carry the child for nine months and become a medium of entry of new lives into this world.
• All the educational institutions have seats reserved for men and even the public transport facilities arrange seats especially for them.
• They have freedom to express their emotions and aren't looked upon only for their strength and as a role to protect the opposite gender.
• The eligibility of the bridegroom is decided on his looks and culinary skills, but not on his fat income or his riches.

• The families' pride doesn't depend only on the virginity of their female child but also on the male members.
• They experience the fear and terror of being physically and sexually assaulted by women.
• When they lose the freedom of answering their nature calls at any public place according to their wish.
• Stop dressing provocatively and don't freely roam about in their boxers.
• Start keeping fasts to prolong the life of their wives'.

• Only when Hindu Goddesses are worshiped on par with the male Gods and the place of Goddesses Laxmi isn't at the feet of Lord Vishnu.
• Wives' of few Gods aren't referred to just as their Consorts.
• Islam, Christianity, Sikhism have something as "Daughter of God" and Female saints to follow.

Unless all these changes take place, there is no point in fighting for equality. As we women can work for the same hours as men, can bring up children as single parent, join army, police force, fight with goons, and look after every need of the family without men's assistance.

But men will never be able to carry out the important life processes for which females are specially evolved for.

By now it is clear that women can replace men for a greater extent in the society, and the probability for men to replace women is comparatively less. 
( Women need just the male germ cells in creation of life,whereas men need a whole new organ plus the female germ cells for the replacement! Even in the cases of in-vitro fertilization you need a surrogate mother :P )

To put it in simple english, there's no point in trying to match up with guys, when we very well know that they can never reach up to us.

Intelligence lies in staying at our respective positions and doing our designed job with the best efforts. 
By believing in smart work, leave few chores exclusive to men. Don't bring up the gender issues, to prevent them from getting a notion of their gender evolution being truly insignificant! :P

So lets start pretending as if the two genders complete each other. ;)
