This is my first love letter and I bet it must be the weirdest of all
the love letters written till date, because it is being addressed to you but
not my lover. :D :P
I don’t say she is perfect,
(she is actually a Punjabi.)
Neither do I say that she loves me the most.(
she here refers to Kajol, just brushing up your memory. People as busy
as you hardly would get time to catch K3G on set max which has been
telecast innumerable number of times and still going strong. watch out
for it the coming week :P )
But I don’t want to be loved by anyone else.(not even if that’s Rani Mukherjee
;) )
I may get few sorrows being with her.
But I’m ready to forgo the many smiles anyone else would give me.
Coz those will be just happy faces with loads of sadness inside.( andar
se kuch aur bahar se kuch)
I may not be the best for her. Neither do I boast of her being the best.
(she did receive filmfare and zee cine award for best actress for this role though)
But she is the one I wished for all along. (at least when I’m working
for Karan :p )
We aren’t here to make anyone unhappy. (that includes even your grand
dad )
We just want to add more meaning to our lives. (and twists to this story
)
We don’t drive any pleasure by hurting you or by going against your
wishes. ( or by shifting to London,
if that makes any sense!)
We have only raised par above the senseless comparisons and differences of
cast, creed, money and riches. ( I don’t mind a poor girl and she a rich boy!
;) )
This new love of ours doesn’t proclaim of being superior to all the
other relations.
It only means that we love ourselves the same way as we love our
parents, siblings... (I’m still a beta of Jaya Ji, bhai of Hrithik and etc etc… )
And as we want the best for you, we expect the same to happen with us...
Giving up our lives if we don’t get each other isn’t on our cards... (
neither did we read that in the script)
As we know the value of other relations even if you don’t recognize the
value of our relation.
We will live, because we have to. Not for self, just for all of you.
(huh! time to leave your palatial house now :( :-| )
Things happen; decisions are made, only with a hope of better tomorrow. Never
to disgrace our past or future... ( only to get good box office collections )
We weren't raised up by you to spoil your name or more of to do something
which we ourselves are ashamed of... ( can’t risk my future projects )
It’s just a pure relation, which we just happened to find ourselves, only
by God's grace and your blessings for our bright tomorrow. (and mainly because of that Punjabi
dhol at Chandani chowk)
It doesn’t matter what the far away aunt or the nearby unjust uncle thinks
of this matter. ( they anyhow don’t have any role in the movie :P )
What matters is if you trust us and are willing to give a chance to
prove ourselves.( before the completion of the long 3+ hours of this film )
But please do remember that we can’t be happy by making you sad.
The fact that we love you people is as true as we love each other. (we
even had family dances in this movie along with the romantic ones :D ;) )
We didn’t zero on each other in just few minutes or months. It took a
lot of thinking and time.
So just give it a thought with an unbiased mind and please don’t reject
our proposal just because you have to... (or if Karan asks you to)
It the end I just want to say that my past and present is possible only
because of your love and care and same holds true with my future... ( including
the success of this movie )
