Time to search

Looked always outside

When the answer lay within

Who can ever love me right ?

If I figure myself wrong on that list

How can I ask someone to love ?

When that someone was never me

How can I love anyone else ?

When I haven't ever loved myself enough

How can I fulfill your dreams ?

When I have left my own dreams unseen

Will I be truly happy ?

If my key to happiness lies with you, not me

How can I call anyone my own ?

When my own thoughts desert me

How can I show someone any light ?

When I hold only darkness within

Love is the answer

Love is the way

I can't pour from an empty soul

Things get filled uptil brim, only then overflow

So I stop my search outside, look within

This time I'll not ask for love 

I'll cultivate, enrich on my own

I have to love myself enough
