You can love someone cause they make you a better person 

or

You can love someone who treasures the type of person you right now are.

You can love someone for giving you immense freedom to grow

You can love someone who behaves just like a kid to have you all by themself.

You can love someone who no longer has anything personal, you make up their each and everything.

You can love someone for knowing your potential and pushing you to achieve it

You can love someone who knows your potential but doesnt want to push it harder on you.

You can love someone who isnt bothered about any of your silly trivial matters

You can love someone who shows the same interest in any of your  senseless matters as in anything important.

You can love someone for not giving much importance to how you look 

or 

You can love someone who wants you to look your best everday.

You can love someone for being bold enough to share their feelings with you

or

You can love someone for the nervousness and self doubt they have about being worthy enough for you.

You can love someone for making you a strong person to take on the world

You can love someone who makes you go weak in your knees.

You can love someone for giving you a bright future

You can love someone who lightens up your present.

You can love someone who has seen more of the world than you and is your best guide

You can love someone who hasn't seen life as closely as you and help them appreciate it

You can love someone who is far away but never makes you realise about the distance that actualy is present.

You can love someone who isnt good at expressing themself

You can love someone who is very dramatic, making things appear as they are right out of some movie.

You can love someone who makes you a matured and sensible person

You can love someone who again turns you into a hopless romantic teenager.

You can love someone who gives importance to the quality than the quantity of time spent with you
or
You can love someone who stays up all night to hear all your nonsense chatter.

You can love someone who makes you a important part of their life
or
You can love someone who makes you their life.

Which love will you chose among them?
Are you really worthy of any of them?

The right choice will be
to love yourself more and do what makes you happy.
People love you for their own selfish reasons
Don' t get trapped!

Damaged soul

Young sweet bubbly soul it was
Full of life and zeal
Just few years old on this planet
Slowly learning the ways of living
Finally time came to face the outside world
With no one to look over
That's the way you grow up

Days passed and it got adjusted to the norms
Making new relations, sharing laughter
Unaware of the evil souls looming around
At times you are too young to know what's good and bad
If it is your fault or some one else's
First blow to its poor soul
Which left it shaken and damaged
But time is tricky.. it heals everything by fading your memory

You get used to the ways of living without any effort
And it just went with the flow
Again unaware of different forms in which darkness can enter
Which will rip apart its soul, again, again and again
And though time is tricky, few wounds cannot be healed even with time.
They loom over you and your damaged soul
Everything seems mere a joke
Only soltitude offers you solace

But emotions, they run high and wild
Taking you to the paths which you decided never to take
Love heals, none can deny
Yet few wounds remain so sour even love fails
You just wait and try to make sense with what is left

But old memories are like uninvited guests
Which frequently knock your door
Pushing you back in the valley of sorrow
Giving you new bruises on their each visit
Stomping and pounding all the little hopes you braved to build
Your past forms a veil against the beautiful future you wish to see
You prefer no company in this journey now
Cutting down chances of any new thrashes

All your precautions go in vain, and someone does manage to enter your forbidden zone
And for a moment, you live in a dream
But soon reality hits and you fall on your face, hitting hard

Again try building a new fence around self
Making sure this time no amount of any emotion can break in
Nothing lasts forever..no love, no hatred, no emotion
Walked in alone, will make a similar exit
There's lot to learn , lot to do

Love can heal, we very well know
but we got used to being damaged souls

LOVE vs LIKE

so they say we fall in love, making it clear it is unintentional as no one falls willingly.

love just happens, may be with a person, a book, a place or a subject you study. you don't actually have reasons for loving something. if you have reasons for it then usually its not a true one.

where as you start liking something after getting to know completely about it. you weigh its pros and cons, which ultimately results in 'liking' it. you have your reasons for liking something.

so the question which arises now is, if you spend much of your time with something you like will you start loving it? and will that love be strong enough, that you stick to it until your last breath?

or even after giving your life years for something you like, you still want to get back to the thing you love. even if you stay apart for any amount of time will your love never die and stay the same?

tricky questions, will get the answers in due time.

MOVE ON

when someone leaves you with no answers

filled you with despair and dismay

when the memories you shared haunt you

you are left with nothing to cherish

questions and only questions their name brings along

you have only your loneliness for comfort

when colours just vanish away

and the world appears black and white

trusting someone again is the biggest challenge you face

what if even this relation ends like the previous case

but you gotto collect your broken pieces of heart

and mend your soul

making a point to love yourself first and the most

others will wait if they know your real worth

I know it is easier said than done

But you have to start somewhere, 

you can't just let yourself burn

world is filled with people good and bad

who you encounter is nothing but a random act  

life should never revolve around a single person 

it is to make as many memories and having some  fun

so girl, go back in time and realize how strong you were

don’t give so much power to anyone that they make you or break

find your wings and soar high

coz your tears are too precious to be shed over any  poor soul, 

and its time to say them good bye!

these just engulf all rights and all wrongs.

when you start doubting yourself,

few act as if they are living,

mere absence of pain ain’t happiness,

peace of mind is all that needed

size of that piece isn’t of much importance.

what use is of a smile,

stretching from one cheek to other

when there’s only venom in your soul.

fallen

but wait

no one’s coming to save you,

you alone are your savior.

all are busy struggling with their life,

as you are equally messed up in yours.

world belongs to self made people.

people who have faith in themselves,

more than in any god.

no miracle potion, no enchanting mantra

can help you out.

clearing my misconceptions!

I’m too lazy to write this, but let’s get on with it.

I have been having few misconceptions, time to clear them up.

• 1.GOD WILL MAKE THINGS RIGHT

So my mom says keep praying, things will turn out good. The only thing you can do when things are out of your hand is to pray to god. I just wonder how is that going to change the things, how does this act of mine has effect on the things already done? How is god going to intervene and make things right, when I very well know I have lost the battle. What powers does prayer has? At the most, it can only calm me down, giving a false relief that I am continuing my efforts and not just sitting idle.

Huh. From childhood I have been told that god is watching us. Do good things and god will reward your work; if you do wrong god will punish you. He will make things right at end; he is always by your side guiding you, looking upon you. I no longer believe in this idea, it does not make any sense to me now.

Nothings happens on its own, even the earth has to rotate on its axis for the days and night to occur. So you work - you get result. If you do not work for things you want, leaving everything on god will only disappoint you in the end. And what is done is done, nothing can change the effects of the things done in past. Your future depends on the work you do, only you can live your life, god can’t do that for you. 
Things don't happen to you just because god has decided it for you. Life is just a collection of random happenings, nothing is decided before hand by any super being.

And one more stupid thing I hear about god is that if we behave accordingly, as the rules laid down by god we will have a happy after life. Seriously?? When we are not sure about being alive the very next day, how can someone guarantee about things happening to us after we die. Doesn't make sense to me.

Between science and god none has emerged a winner. Science has not been successful to explain all theories concerned with this life and universe. Equally theories about god haven't proved anything with substantial evidence . So that leaves us with something out there is in this world which we are unaware of. And mind you this thing doesn't grant you any wishes or doesn't do any favors if you recite few difficult verses or if you fast for a whole month.

But something does exist, beyond our knowledge. We are yet to know that.

•     2.OTHERS HAD IT EASY!

Even I am tempted to believe this most of the times. That I am the one struggling and having a hard way to get things I want from life. Whereas the other people I know, had things easy. They got everything they needed at the exact time of their want. They didn't have to wait or face any sort of disappointments. But this is not true. We all have our own struggles and we are so deeply messed up with our stuff that we take it for granted that other people are having a easy way compared to us.

Not everyone shares his or her struggle. Even the people around me may not know that at this very moment I am fighting the biggest battle of my life. Just because I keep a smiling face, they might think everything is going fine with me. That isn't the case though.

And coming to reaching the goals at different time. I have no answer for that. but I do know that none had it easy. Each one of us had to pay a price for the things they desired.

• 3. GIRLS AND BOYS ARE EQUAL.

Girls are not inferior to guys neither are they superior.  So we are left with the equality function. That is not the case though. Girls and boys are not equal; its same as saying an orange is equal to an apple. We know it is not true. Both taste differently, neither are they equal nor is there anything as superiority or inferiority among them. Same thing goes with gender too, I think gender is something we should stop comparing and competing, both men and woman are unique and equally important. But a man is a man and a woman a woman. They cannot switch places to prove that they are equal to each other. Isn't possible physically or physiologically too. (I am speaking about the major portion of population here leaving out the few exceptional cases).

• 4.       LOVE HAS NO BOUNDARIES!

‘Love is blind’, love has no boundaries etc.  All this occur at the will of the person concerned. You cannot generalize this statement. I do not want to get deep into this. But this statement doesn't hold good, at least for a greater percentage of population of India, where we are very much concerned about the religion, caste creed things to name few. True love actually doesn't have any boundaries. But many people aren't aware of true love.

• 5.       LOOKS DO NOT MATTER!

Well looks do matter. I don’t feel good about myself after gaining 10kg of weight. I was much more confident and active when I was healthier. Weight brings along laziness and a feeling of insecurity. Can go very deep into this discussion, but it will be a very silly one. Cause even our commonsense says that looks do matter, to what percentage that varies from person to person.

• 6.       FRIENDS ALWAYS WANT OUR GOOD.

This statement is true but it is incomplete. Friends always want our good but not better than them. We want our friends to be happy and achieve all the success they deserve. But the moment they overtake us, that uneasy feeling creeps in, which creates a distance. it happens as our levels get changed, the comfort level also changes. The connection once shared starts varying off.  This happens usually, excluding the relationship with best friends though.

• 7.       FEAR

This one is not my own, I read it somewhere. It goes as, ”danger is very well real, but fear is a choice.” fear is an illusion, it’s something created by our mind. It is a result of our thoughts. It actually cripples us, makes us less efficient in facing the situation at hand. It needs a lot of training for our brain to realize this fact. But once we do, then there is no looking back. There will not be anything pulling you back or keeping you off from the things you always wanted to do.

• 8.       FAILURE

There is winning and there is losing, but there isn't a thing called failure. No one is a failure. It’s just that we all reach our destination at different times, few very early, few late but that doesn't mean we have failed in our journey.

• 9. KARMA SETS THINGS EVEN

No it doesn't. Its all bullshit. Life isn't fair and karma doesn't play any role in setting things straight. Not many get what they deserve. Most of the people at fault don't get punished and there are many who suffer for no fault of theirs. You can't expect the life to be fair to you because you have played a fair game all along. Its a losing battle, to expect or predict how things will turn shape.
Not everything makes sense in this world. And most of the times every action doesn't have any equal and opposite reaction, that hold good only in science labs or with any mechanical device but not to human life.

• 10. RIGHT AND WRONG

There isn't any right or wrong way of leading life or doing any trivial thing for that matter. Those are just opinions of the majority and majority doesn't automatically approve it to be right way.

Most of the times we find it easy following the crowd or doing the things what others are doing or have already done. As we are social animals and we live in a society we get bound by all these rules and norms. For the fact unless we don't intrude into others privacy and do not cause any harm directly or indirectly, what we do with our lives shouldn't matter to any other person except us.
