Lazy hazy!

Laziness hasn’t done good to any,
Yet the people who fall for it are many!

You know the things you have to do,
Yet you behave like a dumb, with no clue.

The longer you continue it,
You will be destroyed bit by bit.

By the time you realize what you have lost due to your laziness,
Things will be out of your hands, nothing will come to rescue
No love, No kindness.

All the work you postpone and postpone,
You have to regret for it with interest as some loan.

You see your life wandering aimlessly,
All the plans and dreams you have had, one by one dies.

So act when you can,
Else you will perish along with your clan.

Time Out!

I depend on others
I do
for my happiness
Even if I don't want to
People make me sad
Never did I give them so much power though
My moods change
by the indifference of the people I care
Loneliness is bliss
But at times helpless you feel

It isn't wise letting others effect your life
Its you who need to plan everything and anything about your living
Take a time out
Shut people off
We are here to experience life
Not just relations
Get out
And let your life breathe
Certainty screws up adventure
Don't let the obvious stop you
Life ain't to be led by following a safety manual
Enough of running after money
Enough of the comforts
Enough of the hugs and kisses

 Endless promises
Senseless expectation
No point in directing others' living
Love your life more
The only one you got
Break the routine
Step out
Waste no time
Do things you always planned to do
Be the reason of your own happiness
Be sad at times to balance out
Drink, dance to the music of your solitude
Get lost in nature, to find the new you
The deep forests, blue sky
Let the waves of the sea ease the pain this mortal beings have given you
Humans make love to your body
nature does that to your brain
Physical body has its limits
Mind doesn't
Go dizzy, go blank
Don't depend on words for expression
Speak to self
The lot the better
People may find you crazy
But nothing ever was achieved by sanity
Rule your life
You will have no minute to spare
To discuss people or their doings
Romanticize your life
It makes you too busy
to feel the emotion hate
Go mad, go insane
but don't let the life die within you while you are still breathing..

Cheers!!

Thoughts on year end..

So finally one more year comes to an end. It is just like few days back; we were playing antakshri and the over enthusiastic me threw my sis off the chair while waiting for this very year to start, which is about to end in just one more day!

To sum it up, lets go through a list of insights into life received in this year. ( I am arranging them in the order of months received.)

  1.  A new hair-do can add up a lot to your personality. So even if you have a really bad hair fall, do go for it. Your hair growth will dramatically improve, you wouldn't be left with any regrets.
  2. Time and again it will be proved that nothing goes according to plans. So gear up to face any kind of situation thrown at you. Life throws bouncers at you, usually on the days that matter the most!
  3. Few weeks just pass of at the speed of the days, you will realize it much later.
  4. And even after realization you knowingly spend another few weeks as waste as a boring Sunday.
  5. Depression sucks, but when it strikes don't shy off to take some help. It will only do you good, and save a lot of time. We all go through it at some point or the other in life. So stop alienating yourself. Speak to the nearest Doc you find around in your town. You will thank me later for this one! :P
  6. There comes a time when you find it hard to remember your own birth date. Yeah, that is a very good sign of growing old. ;)
  7. Getting a tattoo feels real cool. You can conveniently deal with the bit of pain you experience while getting inked.
  8. Independence day does hold great significance if you break through the things holding you back. You will truly experience freedom then.
  9. Confused priorities in work life can screw with your peace of mind. Sort of the things at the earliest.
  10. The timid rat in you roars like a lion when dealing with issues concerning your family.
  11. Birthdays get real special when the clock finally strikes 12'.
  12. Few trips happen by chance, and introduces you to a completely new side of self.
  13. Your mom cannot always be the solo hero; without the cape, time comes when the tables turn.
  14. No matter how many men you come across, none can match up with your dad! 8)
  15. Getting high doesn't do you any good. Things which you can't feel or say being sober are better left unsaid and unattended. :-|
  16. Non- veg tastes good most of the times because of the spices used , so we can skip the meat part and stick to the spices; replacing it with snack items like chat! :-*
  17. Friendship does get complicated at times. And you plan doing weird things to keep it the same.
  18. Exercise makes you fit. Staying fit needs a lot more of effort.
  19. Getting married or staying single still remains a topic which needs a good debate.
  20. Practice makes you perfect in most of the things. :P
  21. If you keep pushing your health beyond the limits it can accommodate, be ready to get pushed on to your bed for few good days.
  22. Meeting up with friends is always fun. But don't expect them to understand everything you say, they weren't in your shoes to get your facts that quick.
  23. Not everyone feels responsible for the work they do.
  24. Be good. Do good. Stop stressing yourself about the rest.
  25. Another year comes to an end. Another starts in few hours.

Few wise, few stupid and few absurd insights above are! :P

Wishing each one of you a Very Happy 2016..

Girl with the Yin-Yang tatoo!

In a nutshell, Chinese Yin Yang symbols represent perfect balance. Seemingly, the whole of Chinese philosophy stems from the concept of Yin and Yang - opposites interacting and supposedly the seed of all things. For example, evil results from an imbalance in Yin and Yang, and good comes from the two being in harmonic balance. This symbol represents the primal opposing but complementary forces found in all things in the universe.

The above is what google offers you when you search for the meaning of yin-yang tattoo.
As far as i am concerned this tattoo signifies that..

  • I do keep a track of my crazy teenage wishes and have enough guts to make them happen, at least a few.
  • I do not mind being the odd one out in the crowd I move along with.
  • I can manage those confused staring looks i get from known and unknown people alike, when they happen to look at my wrist! ( I had a minor bike accident around the same time I got my tattoo done, most of my friends where more worried about my tattoo rather than the wounds I endured. And in one incident a hospital nurse thought it to be a reaction to some medical test i had taken for some disease! )
  • I am going to have a real interesting time explaining about my tattoo to my Professors at work place and my future in laws!
  • Finally, that I do end up taking few decisions which put me in great wonder later. A proof that the little craziness in me is still alive, of which I am proud of! ;)

cheers!

Adam and Eve!

Gender discrimination has been a topic of discussion since many ages, gathering lot more significance in recent times. We see women fighting for equality with men in different fields of life. But this very idea of equality between the genders seems to be no more than an idiocy! Equality equation doesn't seem to be valid between the two genders.

Wonder why do I say this?
Lets start from the beginning of life to explain my point of view.

So we all know, that we owe our existence to our parents i.e Mom and Dad.

My mom has been preparing herself anatomically to bear me from a very tender age of early teens. Going through days of physical agony and mood swings each month of every single year.
Later when I was conceived she had to endure nine months duration of physical discomfort and emotional roller coaster ride. With few good days and many bad ones, to keep me safe and alive inside her womb.

And the time finally arrived for me to make a grand entry into this world, for which she had to experience the pain ranking highest on the measurement scale.
After my arrival she was again looked down for getting a female child into the family ( read by the oldies). Even on being fully aware that she had no power in deciding the gender of her child.

Nevertheless I am relieved that I didn't take away my mom's life to start my own. Maternal mortality being high in India, many mothers die in the process of bringing their new ones into this world.
But has anyone heard about Paternal mortality rate?
How many fathers give up their life annually for the birth of their progeny?
The answer being zero to none.

But even after all this I was supposed to take up my father's surname, representing his family and not my mom's. Reducing her to just my portal of entry on this planet.

My father too played a important role for my being, but not equal to my mom's role. I can never bring the equality function between their importance.
I love them equally, don't get confused between love and the role importance for my birth.

So all these debates and fights for the equality between the genders is a lame idea.
Working for the same amount of office hours, receiving equal pay, freedom to roam about with out any fear at midnight, going on solo trips etc isn't sufficient to make the two genders equal.

Male and Female genders can be equal to each other only when..

  • Men start preparing themselves physically to bear a child, when they too experience the monthly cycles, carry the child for nine months and become a medium of entry of new lives into this world.
  • All the educational institutions have seats reserved for men and even the public transport facilities arrange seats especially for them.
  • They have freedom to express their emotions and aren't looked upon only for their strength and as a role to protect the opposite gender.
  • The eligibility of the bridegroom is decided on his looks and culinary skills, but not on his fat income or his riches.

  • The families' pride doesn't depend only on the virginity of their female child but also on the male members.
  • They experience the fear and terror of being physically and sexually assaulted by women.
  • When they lose the freedom of answering their nature calls at any public place according to their wish.
  • Stop dressing provocatively and don't freely roam about in their boxers.
  • Start keeping fasts to prolong the life of their wives'.

  • Only when Hindu Goddesses are worshiped on par with the male Gods and the place of Goddesses Laxmi isn't at the feet of Lord Vishnu.
  • Wives' of few Gods aren't referred to just as their Consorts.
  • Islam, Christianity, Sikhism have something as "Daughter of God" and Female saints to follow.

Unless all these changes take place, there is no point in fighting for equality. As we women can work for the same hours as men, can bring up children as single parent, join army, police force, fight with goons, and look after every need of the family without men's assistance.
But men will never be able to carry out the important life processes for which females are specially evolved for.

By now it is clear that women can replace men for a greater extent in the society, and the probability for men to replace women is comparatively less.
( Women need just the male germ cells in creation of life, whereas men need a whole new organ plus the female germ cells for the replacement! Even in the cases of in-vitro fertilization you need a surrogate mother :P )

To put it in simple english, there's no point in trying to match up with guys, when we very well know that they can never reach up to us.
Intelligence lies in staying at our respective positions and doing our designed job with the best efforts.
By believing in smart work, leave few chores exclusive to men. Don't bring up the gender issues, to prevent them from getting a notion of their gender evolution being truly insignificant! :P

So lets start pretending as if the two genders complete each other. ;)

Cheers!! :)

Listen.. Realize.. Reflect..

Listen..
No one completes you.
Waiting for someone to come and give meaning to your life,
Is nothing but to demean yourself.
There is no prince charming,
and gone are the days of the damsel in distress.

Realize..
People join and leave your journey.
We all are passengers here, with different destination points.
The terminus doesn’t change depending on any specific person; being next you,
It stays the same.
None have similar haven.

Reflect..
When your paths cross for a while, take things as they come.
Do not expect any lifelong companionship.
You aren’t born for anyone,
Neither is someone made for you.
You don’t owe your living to anyone.

Accept..
There is no point in behaving as a sub-ordinate.
You were not born just to continue someone’s clan, community or religion.
Rise above this idiocy.
Make your own living
And take proud in what you are.

Practice..
To spread smiles and let that first smile start from your face.
Leave the lives of others' better than you found.
Do not toil yourself for others yearning.

Figure out..
How to celebrate life.
Don’t keep waiting for an accomplice.
Gather enough bucks and kickoff on a solo journey,
To the most astounding and breathtaking destinations this land has to offer.
But not to confer it to some greedy folks, who fix a price to take you as their family member.

Prioritize to..
Be your own best friend; enjoy your company.
Nothing is going to last long with you except for your solitude.
Do not diminish your vision to please others.

Never..
Fake happiness; or take anything for granted.
Show up your anger and gracefully accept your shortcomings.
But don’t let any of these effect your core.
Stay balanced; Stay happy!!

Cheers!! :)

Anonymity

so there are many perks of being anonymous, the most important being that you will not be judged by the people you know.

will straight away get to the point of concern now. so i'm growing old, the proof being my birthday just the next day, next hour to be more precise. birthdays no more excite me, it has become a struggle to remember it and to actually feel as some special day. i have also realised that my birthday falls on a very odd day, no doubt people find it difficult to remember. recently i too have joined that set of group.
anyways the point we are here to discuss is what actually have i done till date and what do i expect myself doing in the near future.

one of the most important, thought provoking discussion which i had with my grandfather some 15years back is still fresh in my mind. the topic was what human life is worth of. every other living creature on this planet is driven by three main acts, they being - eat, sleep and reproduce. if your life revolves only around these three, you better be some other animal as you being human is of no good use to this planet.

eating and sleeping are something which comes naturally to us from the day we are born. coming to the third one - reproduction. the main aim of reproduction was to prevent their specie from extinction and carry on their existence.
so are we facing any danger of human extinction right now? no.
are there any chances of facing that situation in near future? no.

that brings us to the point that reproduction isn't that necessary for all the humans. we can very well do with out it. being in india reproduction is directly related with marriage. according to the society norms you have to be married to reproduce and once you are married, there is no other go you 'have' to reproduce at any cost. if not your marriage will be termed as a failed one. the advantage of being in india is that the female will be the first and most of the times the only person to be blamed for having no children. you can never question a man's fertility, ability etc etc on this land.
the above discussion is more of a generalized one.

now coming to me. do i actually want to get married?
when i am too high with positive emotions its a 'yes'.
when i get full negative vibes its a 'no'.
and when i think with a stable mind without getting emotional and being in full senses the answer is a big 'no'.
i can live without a marriage. it isn't something like oxygen which is must for my survival.
i haven't come to this decision because i never liked anybody or the other way round. i have met very wonderful people in my life. who i really adore and feel fortunate enough to have met them in my lifetime.
its just that everything feels temporary. the starting days are full dreamy, ecstatic, full of energy and what not.
but later on it becomes a struggle which you have to face each and everyday. sucking out happiness from yours and the opposite person's life. love can make things easier but what if you lack it? you may or may not get the choice of marrying someone you love. lucky enough if you marry the love of your life there is no guarantee that your love will only help you to improve. if it starts to hinder your growth and becomes a danger to your personal space then you will no longer want to be in such relation.
so getting married should not be a decision you make just because you have come of age. its the most important turning point of your life. it should be dealt with utmost seriousness and care. hasty decisions may make you repent your entire life.

and the latest additions to the things i want to do in my life is.
i don't want to have children. ( in case if i ever get married and no indian woman will let me marry her son if i happen to disclose my decision )
earlier i thought that when from the past 16yrs, 5-7 days every month when i have to go through physical and emotional turmoil only to prepare me for this specific job, if i don't accomplish it all my struggle will go vain.
but that does'nt bother me anymore. its ok if i don't eat the final fruit after planting a tree.
there are already many children on this planet who need love and affection. and i don't want to limit myself from sharing it with just 2 or 3 kids.
don't get into a idea that i'm trying to be the next mother teresa, actually i'm being selfish here.
having children makes you a lot more selfish, selfless, possessive and we very well know what a mother(from any part of the world) can endure for the sake of her children. so i just want to save myself from such high and deep emotions, even if it means that i lead an incomplete life, having not experienced all the relations.
well this way i will be able to share my love with many, though that may not be a real deep love but that will do for me. there will be no constraints or strings attached to me. i will not have to fear about the impact my decisions will have on other lives.

the other important outcome of the above two decisions will be that i will not have to leave my home, my parents home to be specific. i can be there for them as long as i can. i will not have the guilt of ignoring my responsibilities of being the elder child.

well thats the plan for now. don't actually know how far i will be able to carry that.convincing my parents for this will be a major task but just wish everything turns out good..
just a few wishes. may sound insane, but can't actually help. it may seem as if i am day dreaming but as there is no tax leveid on dreams, we have the freedom of having as many number of dreams as we wish to have. my attempt isn't of standing out from the rest or to prove that i am unique. i am just trying to be little practical and logical. true enough for the tagline 'mind over matter'.

so here's wishing good luck to me and happy birthday too ;)

cheers!! :)
